  I want to say thank you Gin Gin Hospital ,thank you for everything .I wish that there was a way that we as a community could rally together and either get another nurse allocated per shift ,or get another GP to open in town and take some of the burden of non urgent patients off the hospital and free up the appointment books of the current surgeries.

  Being in hospital is never fun and 26 days "inside" could drive the best of us a little nuts.Well if you live out Gin Gin way and have to have a stay in hospital ,you are so lucky !

  Considering the work load upon these ladies I never once felt neglected nor did I find myself without aide when I required it .I was always treated with respect ,care and concern for my welfare,and in a professional, friendly manner .

  There is nothing better than a lovely clean home and nothing better than a lovely clean, fresh, temporary home attended to every day by enthusiastic thorough,happy diligent people cleaning your room and amenities for you .I really wanted to bring them with me when I left the hospital,but I realized that my selfish desire was not in the interest of the community .

  How do I tell you about the nurses ? What superlatives can I say about them all .Three nurses on day shifts two on the nights and that is to attend all patients in house plus accident and emergency .Wow do they have their hands full.

  The Dr s at Gin Gin are exceptional .Running very busy surgeries and being the attending on call Dr s at the hospital would be a very difficult life at the best of times .However every morning when rounds are due in they come with a smile and listening ears ,observant eyes and incredible knowledge of wide spread health conditions and problems.When they leave your room you know that they are "onto it" and that you are in very good hands .

  It is the staff that make it what it is and Gin gin should be so proud of all that work at the hospital (admin are awesome too) and we all should be so very very grateful that hospitals and care, like I have received, are all paid for by the taxpayers of our great country . I would be more than happy to pay a small fee towards the running of facilities such as this .

  Great, hardly any waiting time. Not many doctors, anything serious will take to Bundaberg in Ambo. This hospital is not maned with Doctors 24hours a day. Clean and friendly

  The hospitality and cleaning staff ,and wards-man were a huge part of my experience with Gin Gin hospital and all of it, also positive .The cooks went out of their way to cater for my special dietary needs and did this with great knowledge ,understanding and care .Not to mention their superb culinary skills.I never went hungry and shared many laughs with these awesome people .
